NITORITO | Scarf | Hanamaru - Navy / Orange
I visited Tendo City, where safflower cultivation is flourishing, and challenged myself to grow safflowers by sowing seeds, picking young plants, and making stakes. I really enjoyed the process of incorporating the energy and color of the flowers and their connection with people into the stoles.
The safflower on the stole is represented as seen from above, in a polygonal shape close to a circle.
Many small flowers are gathered together and bloom as if they are popping out of the narrow gaps in the gakku, an orange that gives off a sense of energy. The buds are swollen and filled with petals, and the turquoise color scheme evokes the feeling of moist rain.
And diamonds and polygons fill the floral gaps, making the colors sparkle and emerge when worn.
You will feel the strong and beautiful safflower and the people who protect and connect the safflower culture.
